EHR Transcriptions: A Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
Rob Foley, 1995
Short of fatherhood, serving in the U.S. Army was the most important period of my life. It reinforced who I am and the values that I aim to uphold.
I was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii from 1993 – 1997. In my fourth and what turned out to be my last year of service, I experienced injuries that led to my honorable discharge.
Upon separation, I worked for Pfizer, Inc. – starting in Honolulu and later moving to Stanford Medical Center. All the while, I sought further medical opinion and treatment.
In 2002, with a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, my dual pursuits for good health and career inspired the creation of our first transcription company, Same Day Transcriptions, Inc.
Out of a deeply personal commitment, we donate 10% of profits to organizations whose mission is to support our military, both retired and active duty. Some of these organizations are shown below.
As a Service Disabled Veteran, it is my duty to support my fellow veterans and those who serve us today. Even more, it is my privilege.
Please join us and help veterans who are homeless and/or service disabled.
